As a result of the storm that came through the KC area on 7/22, OPCC is still without power and AC and so will remain closed today. There are some parts of the building that have power, but our offices are not included in that portion, and neither are the air conditioners. Our electrician came and checked everything yesterday right before the service; after some minor work and checking, at this point we are waiting on the city to restore power.
The pastoral staff will work from home and can take Pastoral calls and emails as necessary. Click here for contact information for each of the pastors. You can also email our church office if you need anything and we will check that email address. We apologize for the inconvenience and will continue to keep you updated!
We continue to pray for those whom this heat can be debilitating, and for those who have limited resources of help. We also pray many thanks, and prayers of protection for those working overtime in this heat to restore power to our community. Thank you for your continued prayers and support of our community.
