Caring Ministries

Jesus cared for the poor, shared joys and sorrows of friends and strangers, healed the sick, and offered forgiveness and reconciliation to all. In the various caring ministries of OPCC we strive to embody Christ’s gracious love for those who are in need. Whether it is a ministry of presence in which we are simply there to sit with you while a loved one is in surgery, to remind you that you are not alone, a ministry of support for specific life experiences such as caregiver support, or counseling and support to begin your marriage in the healthiest of ways, OPCC has many ways we are here to care for our faith community.

We are always accepting prayer requests for those who are in need of prayer. Prayer requests can be kept confidential to our pastoral staff, or submitted to our prayer team of elders and deacons for further prayer.

This prayer list will first go to our pastoral staff. If there is no request for confidentiality, the prayer request may also be sent to elders who regularly pray for our congregation and our community. If you would like the prayer request to only stay with our pastoral staff, please indicate this confidentiality request in your comment.
