Congregational Care
Congregational Care and Hospital Visitation
Mission: To extend the love of Jesus Christ by reaching out and helping others to renewal of body, mind, and spirit through care, support and service. Congregational Care is a team of people who have been trained to provide care, support, and assistance to those in the church with needs. This team of lay people includes the following ministries: Hospital Callers, Shut-In Callers, Nursing Home Callers, Recovery Team, Transporters, Meals-to-Care, Telecare, ElderCare, Office Help, Special Needs, Stephen Ministries, Tape Ministry, Flowers-to-Care, Emergency Support Team, and Support Groups. Each of these ministries has a different focus but a common goal of trying to be the "the body of Christ" to those with special concerns. If you would like to be added to one of these lists for periodic visits, or have a need to be visited during a hospital visit, etc., please contact our Congregational Care Team at ext. 224. |
