Children Worship & Wonder

We invite all children and families to worship together during 10:30 a.m. worship services, as they feel comfortable.  However, during our 10:30 a.m. worship service, children aged 4 years old through sixth grade are invited to attend a child-friendly worship time in the Children Worship & Wonder room just to the north of the main etrance.  

Following the Worship & Wonder Scripture in the 10:30 a.m. worship, children are dismissed from the chancel area and will be met by a children’s ministry leader in the back of the sanctuary.

Children Worship & Wonder recognizes children as spiritual beings who already have a relationship with God. In Children Worship & Wonder, children learn about God while experiencing God. They hear the Bible stories in a way that allows them to enter into the stories and form responses out of their own life experiences. They learn the meaning of church traditions and have opportunities to participate in worship practices (Young Children and Worship, Introduction).

We have trained Storytellers and Greeters that will welcome your children into this special way of being with God together.  You can contact our Coordinator of Children Worship & Wonder Lisa Engelken, ​Director of Children's Ministries & Associate Pastor Rev.
