Young Adult Ministries
The Young Adult Ministries at Overland Park Christian Church strives to be a place for all kinds of individuals from 18-30. Whether a recent high school graduate, a young professional, a parent, or a post-high 20 something, navigating through these new stages of life including a growing relationship with Christ can be a challenging experience. Life as a young adult can be overwhelming and full of a variety of challenges. We strive to provide a real and relevant ministry that speaks to the unique experience of a young adult Christian.

Theology on Tap
Theology on Tap is a great opportunity that takes God out of the confines of a church building and into the daily lives of young adults by offering a series of topics in a relaxed and fun environment. It offers young adults the opportunity to meet in a comfortable setting of a restaurant to explore faith, how it affects our lives and the chance to get your fill on engaging topics and fellowship with a table-full of Young Adults. (All ages of young adults are invited, but are also required to follow all appropriate laws concerning alcohol consumption. We must be safe and smart!) Please contact Laura Phillips, ext. 222, with any questions or concerns.
The Doubting Side of Faith
Did you grow up in the church, but now Christianity looks weary and threadbare, full of negative baggage? Do you feel like the church COULD be doing some good, but it’s hard to see because of the negative you hear about “church” in general? Would you like to dive deeper into some very important topics of the day, but don’t want to get caught up in single-issue arguments that fail to address some real issues? If you or someone you know needs a safe space to discuss some of your questions and doubts about the church and your faith, this is the place for you. This is a safe place where we can explore and ask questions, without the need to "commit" or "join." Rather a community in which to explore, doubt, deny, accept, question, dig deeper and just have some good conversation about that troublesome thing we call "the church." We meet monthly at a local coffee shop, Homer’s Coffehouse, to discuss the doubting side of faith.
