Stewardship MinistriesPsalm 24:1 reminds us that “The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it;” We are called to be stewards of all that we are given. From the small piece of dirt on the ground to the most extravagant building, we commit to caring for the gifts we have received, and our service to the One who has provided these gifts.
At Overland Park Christian Church we strive to be good stewards of all that we are given. Some give of their time, some share their talents, many choose to give financially. Some teach us to care for the environment in new ways, some commit to organizing the ways we care for one another. Each year we follow a Stewardship Focus to study more about our call to be stewards of God's gifts, and agents of God's love in our community. In the Fall of 2020 we looked at the "Our Money Story" as we pondered the story God is writing at OPCC in 2021. Each of us are called to a life of stewardship in all we do. Check out some of the ways we are committed to giving back to the faith community, through our Building Ministries, Landscape Ministries and through the Outreach Ministries, the ways we give back to the greater community. |
