Ina Fern McBride, 90, of Overland Park, Kansas passed away in her home November 18, 2020. Ina was born April 6, 1930 in Lake View, IA to Claude and Hester Russell née Frederick.
She graduated from Sac City High and taught in a one room school until she was married. Ina Fern was foremost a dedicated loving wife and mother. A lifelong energetic and active member of her church. She was an enthusiastic volunteer for MADD, Soup Kitchen and many other causes. She was a person to see a need and respond. Heroicaly kind and a loyal Chief’s fan. The family made her a book for her 80th birthday called “80 Reasons We Love Ina Fern”. We could go another 80 at least.
Ina was preceded in death by her husband, Everett. She is survived by her sister Irene Siebrecht; her children Terry McBride, Karen Thrailkill, James McBride, Gregory McBride, Steven McBride; her six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Due to the current circumstances, no services are scheduled.
