Christian Education for Children

We know that in order to grow together in our community, it is essential that we continue to learn. Our Christian Education classes, available for all ages, are designed to stimulate thinking and assist in our spiritual growth. So whether you’re nine or ninety, whether you have grown up in the church or are just beginning your personal spiritual journey, come and find out how our Sunday morning Christian Education classes can help you.

Our Christian Education hour for children occurs 9:00am until 10:00am. Our curriculum follows the Common Revised Lectionary and is child-targeted, Bible-based, and life-oriented. We use a variety of teaching methods which may include, but are not limited to: science, storytelling, computers, cooking, arts & crafts, drama, puppetry, video, and creative writing. We attempt to give children and their leaders ways to internalize God’s Word by saying, doing, and experiencing God’s Word. With hands-on activities each week, the children will gather new and different ways that the Bible is relevant to their own lives and that our faith is to be lived out in the world.
