What to Expect
Visiting a church for the first time can come with a lot of questions. We want your first visit to OPCC to feel comfortable and easy.
Sunday Worship
Worship begins at 10:30am on Sundays in the Sanctuary. You’re welcome to arrive a few minutes early, find a seat, and settle in.
Come as You Are
There’s no need to dress a certain way or have everything figured out before you walk through the door. Come as you are. Questions are welcome here.
Children & Families
Children and families are part of the life of OPCC. We’ll help you find where you need to go and answer any questions when you arrive.
Children & Families
Children are always welcome in worship.
The sounds of children remind us that God is moving in our midst.
Families have several ways to worship together at OPCC. A Family Friendly Worship area provides space and resources to help children stay engaged during the service, and nursery care is available for both Worship and Christian Education.
Children Worship & Wonder is offered year-round during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Following communion, children are invited to join a Children Worship & Wonder leader for an age-appropriate lesson in the Children Worship & Wonder room. During the summer, children are encouraged to remain with their families in worship, with resources available to help children and youth participate.
Our nursery is open Sunday mornings from 10 a.m.–noon for parents and caregivers to use with their children. While the nursery is not regularly staffed at this time, families planning to attend who need nursery care are encouraged to contact the church office ahead of their visit.

We’re at the corner of 75th Street and Conser, between Metcalf and Antioch.
Where to Park
Parking is available in the lots north and west of the church, as well as on Conser in front of the church. Accessible parking is available across the street east of the church, by the fire station.
Where to Enter
Our main entrance is on the east side of the building, off Conser Street and across from the fire station. Greeters will be there to welcome you and help you find the Sanctuary, nursery, Christian Education classes, or fellowship areas.
Both the east and west entrances are accessible.

At Overland Park Christian Church, we believe faith is something we explore together. Bring your questions, your experiences, your gifts, and your whole self.
If you decide you would like to make OPCC your church home, you are invited to become part of our faith community. There is no test of faith and no requirement to agree on every question. What matters is a desire to follow Jesus and share in the life of the community.
As a congregation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), we celebrate an open Communion table and welcome all who seek to follow Christ.
