Variety is key in the OPCC Music Ministry. Whether you love contemporary solos, gospel quartets, or medieval motets, we have the right group for you. We love it all and bring it all into worship each week! For more information or to join in one of these groups, please contact our Music Director, Chris Elliott.
Chancel Choir – The choir provides leadership in worship three Sundays a month during the school year, and monthly during the summer. Chancel Choir is known for its caring fellowship and opportunities for personal and musical growth. Activities also include festivals, retreats, concerts, and social gatherings. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:15 p.m.
Reverberations Handbell Choir – Our handbell choir rings English handbells at our 10:30 a.m. worship service and on special services when requested. This group is friendly and welcoming, and a great place to start if you are looking to learn some music. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.
insideOUT – Our insideOUT band provides music and leadership during our regular Sunday services about once every six weeks. Guitar, vocals, piano, drums, and others lead us in both new and familiar worship music, inviting us to expand our understanding of what it means to worship in song.
Ensembles - Vocal and instrumental duos, trios, quartets, etc. are assembled on an as-needed basis for the ministry of music. A great opportunity to sing or play together! Rehearsals occur on an as-needed basis.
Instrumentalists – If you play an instrument, consider offering a solo or accompaniment for worship or other events of the church. Rehearsals occur on an as-needed basis.
