Sharing Christ's love by Serving our neighbors while Growing as Jesus' disciples

Worship

As we continue to grow in our spiritual journeys, we realize that each of us has a need to offer our praise and thanksgiving to God.  As a community, we enjoy a richness of diversity; however, we share the desire to worship God fully.  Our diversity is shown in the various expressions of worship we incorporate into our worship gatherings … hymns, praise choruses, preaching, drama, dance, visual art, reader’s theater, worship musicals, special concert events, organ, worship band, brass, personal words of witness … they all combine to draw us into God’s holy presence and help broaden our avenues of worship.

What to expect during a worship service

When you enter our worship center- wait! Don’t do that yet- before you enter our worship center, you should definitely stop by the Fireside Room for a cup of coffee and a bagel or donut, which are served before each worship gathering (and again after the service). When you do make your way to the worship center, you will find a wide variety of dress- from blue jeans to blue blazer and tie- and folks joyfully chatting with each other. Our worship style is emergent, which means we draw on ancient and modern practices of the Christian Faith, choral and popular music styles, and weave them into an interactive tapestry of prayer, praise, quiet contemplation, and fellowship. The mood is affirming, uplifting, and joyful… and we think you will like it if you give it a try. We hope to see you soon.

Children in Worship
