Youth Mission Trip

Thirteen youth and sponsors took part in a mission experience to Lake Charles, LA from July 26-Aug 2. We worked through Disciples Home Missions (DHM) and had a wonderful experience! This was the first mission trip for many of these kids. They learned a lot about helping others and what it means to reach out with the love of Christ. We had a lot of fun eating some creole food and trying to hunt for alligators and crabs on the bayou too!

Costa Rica

Our first international mission trip in many years proved to be an extraordinary experience for everyone involved. Ten individuals aged 16 to 86 participated in this mission experience in which we partnered with Project David and the IEPC (Iglesia Evangelica Presbiteriana Costarricense or Costa Rican Presbyterian Church). In Costa Rica we were partnered with a church new to the IEPC in the area of San Jose referred to as La Colina. We formed bonds with the people of the La Colina church that we continue to nurture today. We hope to make this a yearly trip!
