Get Connected

OPCC's Global & Local Outreach program offers many opportunities to get involved in living out our vision to share, serve and grow. Three such opportunities are Angel Food Ministries, Argentine Food Kitchen, and Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN):

Angel Food Ministries

Angel Food Ministries supplies a selection of fresh, frozen, and staple food items at an extremely low monthly cost to anyone who wishes to order. Volunteers pick up the food from a central location and bring it to OPCC, where patrons collect their orders on the scheduled Saturday of the month.

Argentine Food Kitchen

Serve meals to homeless and low income families in our area . . . Each third and fifth Thursday, volunteers gather at the church, beginning at 9:00 a.m., for nearly a full day of service. Food is prepared in volunteers' homes or on site, and then delivered and served for lunch in this local food kitchen.

Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN)

Volunteer to host homeless families in our church through this unique program that provides emergency shelter and meals as well as compassionate assistance with social services in order to return homeless families to a renewed sense of dignity, hope, and independent living . . . Landscape Committee

Love to get dirty? Join this fun-loving, hard-working group who work to beautify and tend to our gardens. To learn more about how you can get involved, call the church office at 913.677.4646 ext. 222.

Music Ministry
